Momentum

I've been busy working on promoting Heart Shine Studios, which means big things in the upcoming year as long as I don't chicken out.  It is overwhelming knowing the possibilities, but I'm thankful for each new day and the sunshine it brings.

Hand Lettering and the Cold

I've contracted a cold, and here in NC it is cold and wet out so I have been spending my day drinking plenty of fluids, watching reruns of "Parks and Recreation", and of course getting my make on.  I had this sketch in my sketchbook for a while so I finally inked it and gave it some color.

Let's Brave the Ocean

I have not made a New Year's resolution for myself in many years, mostly because I know myself and I know that I won't bother about a month in.  But I decided this year I should attempt to take myself and my art seriously, because if I don't who will?  So I tried to keep my goals simple and honest:

Anyone have any suggestions on where I should show my art in the triad?

New art for the new year!

My first piece of art for the new year.  A watercolor piece called "Smooth Sailing" measuring at 18x22.  The quote is "A smooth sea never made for a skillful sailor" words to live by when the tides get rough. So be on the look out for upcoming shows and the much anticipated Etsy shop.  Happy New Year everyone and may we all be salty sea dogs in the years to come.
